Proceeds for this event will be donated to Chloe’s Closet:
Chloe’s Closet is a new community-based initiative of the Guilford Interfaith Volunteers (GIV), in partnership with the Negron Family, to provide used durable medical equipment to children across Connecticut. This division was established to honor Chloe, the daughter of Rennie and David Negron, who tragically passed away in 2025 from Tay-Sachs disease, a rare genetic disorder. During Chloe’s life, the Negron family experienced firsthand how difficult it can be to find – and afford – the specialized medical equipment children often require. They also saw how quickly families can become overwhelmed when navigating the emotional, logistical, and financial challenges that come with serious pediatric illness.

ACTS OF KINDNESS
Acts of Kindness is part of the ministry of the St. George Men’s Group. When a true need arises within the community, our members have gone out to help the person or organization in need. We have provided services such as rides to doctor visits, transportation of hospital beds and chairs in the home, trimming of trees and yardwork, building a ramp to gain entrance into a home for medical transportation of the resident, and more.
For example: SGMG members dismantled and removed the playscape at Our Lady of Mercy School. (Before and After photos above.)
